Today, Cybastion CEO Dr. Thierry Wandji and senior executives joined U.S. and Congolese business leaders and government officials at a high-level U.S.-DRC presidential roundtable inUS Chamber of Commerce US-Africa Business Centerin Washington, D.C. Cybastion was a sponsor of the event.
The roundtable coincided with President Tshisekedi's official visit to Washington and aimed to create momentum around the Washington Accords for Peace and Prosperity to boost US investment in the country.
During the roundtable, President Tshisekedi outlined the DRC's economic priorities and reform agenda. The President outlined his vision of leveraging public-private partnerships to attract U.S. investment in key sectors, including agriculture, digital transformation, critical minerals, infrastructure and energy.
In September, Cybastion launchedAfrica DigiEmpower, a digital training program in partnership with the DRC Ministry of Youth, and is expected to begin training sessions this year.
President Tshisekedi noted during the roundtable that the DRC is exploring partnership opportunities with Cybastion to help advance its digital transformation agenda.
