The Republic of Guinea enters the digital era!
Guinean government officials and the Cybastion team met on September 25 at the Permanent Mission of Guinea to the United Nations in New York to discuss their investment partnership and next steps to advance the West African nation's digital transformation and unlock new opportunities for growth and innovation.
Cybastion officially signed a partnership agreement with the National Digitization Agency of Guinea on March 24 to explore collaboration opportunities aimed at strengthening the country's national digitization program.
During the meeting, Cybastion CEO Thierry Wandji highlighted the key digital and cybersecurity solutions offered by Cybastion to advance Guinea's #digitaltransformation.
Youssouf Mohamed Aribot, Director General of the National Agency for the Digitization of the State in Guinea, stressed the importance of catalyzing the digitalization of Guinea and accelerating digital connectivity and technological innovation in the country.
“I am excited,” exclaimed Masseni Kaba Saleh, second secretary of the Permanent Mission of the Republic of Guinea to the United Nations, about the partnership with Cybastion.
“Now is the right time to bridge the digital divide in Guinea,” Saleh said. “We look forward to strengthening ties between Africa and the U.S. private sector. »
Duminda Wijesekera, professor at George Mason University, cybersecurity engineering and computer science departments and director of the Mason Living Innovation Laboratory, spoke about training opportunities for young people.
