Burkina Faso and neighboring countries in the Sahel region face significant security challenges due to increased terrorist activities and organized crime networks operating in the region.

Cybastion and a consortium of American technology partners participate in the 2ndSYSDEF international exhibition (Synergy, Safety, Defense and Security)on defense, security and civil protection, from May 8 to 10 in Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso.

The Cybastion team and U.S. technology partners will connect with key policymakers and defense industry leaders to deliver concrete technology solutions to strengthen border security in the region.

The Cybastion team welcomed distinguished guests to its lively exhibition stand, including a US delegation. The United States Ambassador to Burkina Faso, H.E. Ambassador Joann M. Lockard, the Embassy's Economic and Commercial Attaché and senior military officers stopped at the booth.

Cybastion offers a range of robust technology solutions that detect, deter and respond to security threats along the region's borders. During the three-day event, Cybastion and its partners will participate in panel discussions on leveraging technology to respond to security threats, build local capacity, and build community resilience.
